Course Description

This training provides an overview of the criminal, civil, and family legal systems in Texas and how they impact survivors of power-based abuse. Participants will explore protective orders, divorce and custody protections, housing and confidentiality options, and compensation supports. The session emphasizes recent legislative updates and highlights survivor-centered strategies for promoting safety and stability.
