In this workshop, we identified how trauma affected survivors of sexual assault and the ways they responded to and reported the crime. We explored different civil legal remedies available to survivors of sexual assault, including housing protections, protective orders, financial remedies, and campus response. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the laws that governed consent and crimes such as sexual assault and sexual harassment.
